Utopia Homes Australia – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Utopia Homes Australia (“we”, “our”, “us”) to any client (“you”, “your”, “Client”). By engaging our services through our website, social media, phone, or Jobber booking system, you agree to these Terms in full.

By booking our services via any platform (social media, email, SMS, phone call, or through our Jobber online booking system), you acknowledge that:


3. Pre-Clean Tidy Requirement

To ensure our cleaners can work efficiently and deliver the highest quality results, we require that general clutter (e.g. laundry, dishes, toys) be tidied before your appointment.

Tidy Fee: If your cleaner needs to spend time tidying before cleaning can commence, a $55 one-off fee may apply.


4. Scope of Services

Our standard cleaning includes general dusting, surface wiping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of kitchen and bathroom areas.

Special tasks (e.g. oven, fridge, fan cleaning) must be pre-approved and may incur additional charges.


5. Property Access

You must ensure safe, timely access to the property. In the case of a lockout or inaccessible property, a fee will apply.

Lockout Fee: $150


6. Cancellations & Reschedules

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee.

Late Cancellation Fee: $100


7. Late Payments

Invoices are due within 2 business days of service.

Late Payment Fee: $15 per day, accruing daily after the due date.


8. Deep Clean Surcharge

If the condition of your home differs significantly from what was communicated during booking (e.g. heavy dust, grime, pet mess, mould), a surcharge will be applied to reflect the added workload.

Deep Clean Surcharge: $60 per cleaner (one-time fee)


9. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not fully satisfied, contact us within 24 hours of your service. We will do our best to resolve the issue promptly.


10. Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if the property presents hazardous or abusive conditions. In such cases, a Lockout Fee may still apply.


11. Use of Client-Supplied Equipment

Clients who choose to provide their own products or tools must ensure they are safe and functional. Utopia Homes will not be liable for damage caused by client-supplied products.


12. Insurance & Code of Conduct

Utopia Homes Australia is fully insured with public liability coverage and adheres to a strict code of conduct. Our cleaners are vetted, trained, and professional. We strive to maintain a respectful, safe, and high-quality environment in every home we enter.


13. Agreement Continuity

These Terms apply to all recurring or future services until amended or terminated in writing by either party. Updates to these Terms will be posted on our website and apply automatically to new bookings.


14. Limitation of Liability

We take great care in the provision of our services, but we are not responsible for:

Maximum liability for damages is limited to the total fee paid for the relevant service.


15. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of our service, pricing, or availability without notice, provided the change does not affect a confirmed booking.


16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
